Tarren Alicia Torres
Tarren A. Torres is an Associate with ELG, providing honest, efficient and effective legal counseling to ELG’s diverse range of clients. Ms. Torres’ representation has included litigation practice in both civil and administrative law proceedings—including the State Water Resources Control Boards and the South Coast Air Quality Management District—and state court, as well as review and drafting of various agreements. Ms. Torres has also been responsible for review and response to enforcement actions, Public Records Requests, and OSHA complaints.
Prior to her work with ELG, Ms. Torres conducted depositions, mediations, settlement conferences, and appeared at court hearings and proceedings on a contract basis. Ms. Torres was a Volunteer Attorney for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, where her work focused on enforcement of City nuisance laws. Ms. Torres has served as an extern for the Honorable Teresa Sanchez-Gordon of the Los Angeles County Superior Court and volunteered at the El Monte Workers’ Rights Clinic and Inner City Law Center. Ms. Torres also previously served as the Program Coordinator at the Edmund G. “Pat” Brown Institute of Public Affairs, organizing public forums focused on policy issues in California.
Ms. Torres greatly enjoys being a part of Egoscue Law Group and the firm’s practice of environmental and natural resources law because of her passion for the environment and for serving the needs of her home state. Ms. Torres believes that nothing is more important to the communities of California than responsible development, regulation, and protection of its natural resources and environment, and Ms. Torres is committed to assisting our clients with their needs regarding environmental matters. Ms. Torres is an active member of the legal community and has served as a board member of the Long Beach Bar Association and as President of the Long Beach Barristers Section.
Ms. Torres received her J.D. from California Western School of Law and her B.A. from California State University, Los Angeles. She is a member of the State Bar of California.
